Take Steps is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest fundraising event campaign, where we raise funds to accelerate research, advance treatments, and provide programs and support to improve the quality of life for those living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

No matter where you are in your IBD journey, together we share one path: Forward, to Mt. Remission and IBD cures.

Address: Yeatman's Cove at Sawyer Point Park - 705 E Pete Rose Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202
Parking Details: FREE Parking available at 435 E Mehring Way. Free based on availability.

Walk Route Length
The walk route is approximately 1.5 miles out and back route paved walkway and grassy paths. Please wear appropriate footwear and note possibility of mud/puddles. 

Bathroom Access
Permanent restrooms will be provided at the festival area and on walk route. 

$1,500 Club 

Raise $1,500-4,999 and your team will receive VIP treatment on event day! Join us at our exclusive Trailblazer Lodge where you’ll experience a special oasis with unique refreshments and relaxing lodging to kickback and celebrate YOU getting us closer to cures for IBD.

Benefits include:

  • Entry to the Trailblazer Lodge with access to special refreshments
  • Team signage at the walk*
  • Team recognition on the Southern Ohio's Facebook page
  • Team recognition on Top Fundraising Club website

*Must reach $1,500 by May 25th

$5,000 Club

As a top fundraising team, you’ll earn a reserved team area and sign within our Trailblazer Lodge.

Benefits include:

  • Designated team area in our Trailblazer lodge
  • Custom refreshments in team area
  • Team signage at the walk*
  • Team feature on the Southern Ohio's Facebook page
  • Team feature on Top Fundraising Club website

    *Must reach $5,000 by May 25th

EXPERIENCE TAKE STEPS

Start at our Trailhead area. Check-in, submit donations, and IBD patients — you’ll find a special green T-shirt!

Next, grab a Dedication Ribbon that represents your connection to IBD. Hold on to it for our Dedication Ribbon Ceremony!

Your IBD journey is unique — and important. Patients and caregivers, add a marker on our IBD Journey Map in honor of where you've been and where we're headed: Mt. Remission & IBD cures.
