At Take Steps, we are a community of patients, caregivers, supporters, and healthcare professionals. Together, we fundraise for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) cures and aim to support and empower everyone impacted by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dollars raised by Take Steps positively affect patient outcomes. That’s what we call the Take Steps Effect.

Team Fundraising Rewards

Fundraising as a member of your team is critical to supporting the work of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. Together, kick your fundraising into high gear to earn the Team Fundraising Rewards below!

Level 1*: You and your team will receive VIP treatment on event day! Experience a special oasis at our exclusive Trailblazer Lodge with unique refreshments and relaxing lodging to kick back and celebrate YOU, getting us closer to cures for IBD.

Level 2: As a top fundraising team, you’ll earn a reserved team area and sign within our Trailblazer Lodge.

Ready to take your fundraising to the next level? Follow these steps to fundraising success:

  • Get the DonorDrive Take Steps mobile app. Increase your fundraising right at your fingertips! Text your contacts a link to your fundraising page, share a donation QR code, manage your Facebook fundraiser, and get notified when you receive donations.

  • Raise 3xs more when you connect to Facebook. Connect your Take Steps fundraiser to Facebook and raise 3x more than those who don’t. In 2023, Take Steps participants who fundraised on Facebook raised an average of $1,127, compared to only $353 raised by those who didn’t. 
  • Don’t be afraid to make the ‘Ask’. It can often take 3-4 times to request donations before someone acts — everyone needs a gentle reminder! Ask early, ask often, and let’s make a difference together!
